Demonstrations and Classes available at the mill during the year. The Northern Virginia Carvers provide demonstrations, free teaching and semi-private class sessions on Sunday afternoons at Colvin Run Mill Park in Fairfax County.
Various 1st and 3rd Sundays throughout the year – Approximate time 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm.

Check Fairfax County Park Authority Parktakes catalogue for semi-private class registration. Ages 16 and up required.
Open to the public sessions are limited to Ages 12 ( twelve) and up . A parent or guardian must remain with children at all times. Instruction is free as is use of available tools. There is a nominal charge for pre-cut blanks.
DATES that carvers plan on being at Colvin Run Mill ( call ahead 703-759-2771 to make sure carvers schedule has not changed) : SUNDAYS – 12 NOON TO 3:00 PM.
